Houston Rockets guard Kevin Porter Jr. has been arrested and charged with assaulting his girlfriend in a New York hotel.

Porter allegedly returned to the hotel early morning after his girlfriend locked him out of the room due to his late return.

He gained access to the room and assaulted her, resulting in injuries to her face and neck.

The woman was hospitalized, and Porter is facing charges of assault and strangulation.
